Although the dancing girls didn’t turn up, an excellent evening was had by all.   Michele, after having created table décorations,  with flowers and photographs of Reunion,  gave an enlightening brief about the island,  its attractions and chequered history. Bien que les danseuses n’aient pas fait leur apparition, nous avons quand même tous passé une excellente soirée. Michèle, après avoir créé la décoration des tables avec des fleurs et des photos de la Réunion, nous a fait un exposé instructif sur l’île, ses attraits et son histoire mouvementée.

     The Rougail iitself was flavoursome and plentiful and was much enjoyed to the accompaniment of a little red wine.
