On January 27th, we held our Annual General Meeting at La Par\u00e9e Verte. Le 27 janvier 2024, nous avons tenu notre Assembl\u00e9e G\u00e9n\u00e9rale annuelle \u00e0 la Par\u00e9e Verte.<\/em><\/p>\n

After a speech by our President, Mike McClenahan, our Vice-President Marie Habert reminded us of all the events, then Our Treasurer Jean-Joseph Dombrowski presented his financial report. This report shows a deficite for the year 2023, due to an increase in the cost of our end of the year lunch, but everything is all right. Apr\u00e8s un discours de notre Pr\u00e9sident, Mike McClenahan, notre Vice-Pr\u00e9sidente, Marie Habert, fit un r\u00e9sum\u00e9 de nos diff\u00e9rentes activit\u00e9s intervenues en 2023. Ensuite, ce fut le tour de notre Tr\u00e9sorier Jean-Joseph Dombrowski, de pr\u00e9senter son rapport financier. Il y a un d\u00e9ficit cette ann\u00e9e, car il y a eu une forte augmentation du co\u00fbt du repas de fin d’ann\u00e9e, mais malgr\u00e9 tout, les finances de l’Association restent saines.<\/em><\/p>\n

It has been decided to increase the annual subscription and to pass it to 17\u20ac <\/em>per person. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d’augmenter la cotisation annuelle et de la passer \u00e0 17\u20ac par personne.<\/em><\/p>\n

There was an election for two new members of the Committee : Sylviane McClenahan and Fran\u00e7oise Viola. Deux nouveaux membres du Conseil d’Administration ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lus: Sylviane McClenahan et Fran\u00e7oise Viola.<\/em><\/p>\n

In the meantime, Michel Habert showed a diaporama of photos and videos of the various events in 2023. Entre temps, Michel Habert a projet\u00e9 un diaporama de photos et de vid\u00e9os des \u00e9v\u00e9nements de 2023.<\/em><\/p>\n

Afterwards, though it was very early for the French members, but we had dinner (a cold buffet) followed by the traditional Galettes des Rois. Ensuite, bien qu’il soit tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t pour les adh\u00e9rents fran\u00e7ais, nous avons eu notre d\u00eener (un buffet froid campagnard) suivi des traditionnelles Galettes des Rois.<\/p>\n
