Despite a rainy evening, members arrived determined to enjoy the evening. The ladies had been invited to wear a djellaba, and a wonderful display of gorgeous costumes resulted. Malgré une journée pluvieuse, nos adhérents sont arrivés bien décidés à profiter de la soirée! Les dames avaient été invitées à porter une djellabah pour faire couleur locale, et nous avons eu un merveilleux défilé de très beaux costumes…

The couscous itself was delicious and plentiful. Le couscous était délicieux et copieux.

Michele entertained and educated with information about couscous and its region of origin and had decorated the tables with photos and symbols. Comme d’habitude, notre décoratrice Michèle avait fait des merveilles, et nous a préparé d’intéressantes informations sur l’origine du couscous, et sur Jacques Majorelle, pas toujours bien connu.
As the food and wine flowed, entertainment was provided by Mike and JP……. Comme la nourriture et les vins étaient abondants, Mike et J.P. nous ont offert un spectacle très divertissant
…… and a jolly good time was had by all! En résumé, tout le monde s’est bien amusé !!! Soirée réussie…
